"The Terraces" - First, Second and Third Terrace, area completely destroyed by enemy action in Clydebank Blitz 13 & 14th March, 1941. At the time of this photograph, my mother & grandparents lived at 1, Second Terrace, clearly visible in the photo. They survived the bombing but lost everything.

I,ve been searching for old aerial images of Drumchapel without much success. Present day Drumchapel stands where the railway line stretches into the distance on the left hand side of this photograph.
